Wine Tasting Fund Raiser
Hi Everyone ~ Come with your friends to
"Arts & Carafes" on September 24th at the Country Club to enjoy a great time
and help Kalo...all for only $50 per person!
That covers both the Happy Hour which starts at 6:30PM and the Main Event
which follows. It's a sampling
of excellent wines, each of which is accompanied by perfect food, all
elegantly served at your table.
Further, the selected wines will be available by the bottle or case for
purchase at discount prices. Also there will be tables of silent auction
bargain treasures, plus live traditional jazz music. Additionally a number
of comfortably unstructured
moments will be interspersed when you can easily wander about, visiting
folks you know and meeting ones you’d like to.
Upon
returning home when it's all over after a few hours, you’ll be saying "Arts
& Carafes" was a wonderful posh-casual evening, while likewise feeling
really good about supporting the Kalo Foundation's outreach for another
year.
As just one example of that outreach, Kalo's two-week Spring 2010 series "It
Starts With The Arts" -- comprising dozens of programs with expert speakers
and the best-ever exhibition of the past century's local art -- lead all
other City of Park Ridge Centennial celebrations!
Countless numbers of adults, as many of you know, were rightly amazed at our
town's cultural heritage during their lunch-time, weekend and evening
visits. In between programs, public and parochial school classes nearly
swamped 'The Pantry' Non-Profit Center over those 14 days while
enthusiastically embracing new-found knowledge. Further, almost every bit
of the series was FREE and open to all.
