 Iannelli House Pledge Card

Kalo's intentionally concise Master Plan indicates a range of potential adaptive uses for the buildings. Likewise both a new name for the facility -- Iannelli Studios Heritage Center -- and a three paragraph "vision statement" have been carefully determined. Clearly, making Park Ridge a better place while being a good neighbor is paramount.

Kalo's application for National Register listing is progressing well via the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency, as required by law. Significant pro-bono professional guidance on all these matters has come from Mr. John Garrett Thorpe [Restoration Architect] and Ms. Lisa DeChiera [Landmarks Illinois].

Anticipating zoning success, Kalo will redouble its fund-raising efforts towards reaching $400,000 goal by July 4, 2011, so as to attain the full $1-for-$2 challenge grant addition of $200,000. Contribution commitments from individuals and charitable foundations amounting to $70,000 have already been received, which with the match amount to over $100,000 raised in two months. Kalo extends its grateful appreciation to all who have already found its easy-to-use pledge process at: http://kalofoundation.org/Iannelli_pledge_card_01.html
